I ran across this book in several different reading groups and I’ve heard nothing but good raves for this book. I’m finally glad I had a chance to read it. The praises are well-deserved, and I can’t wait to read the second one, Chaysing Memories.

The chemistry between Tess and Joe then Chris is so palpable, I felt like I was right here with them. Even with Jack, which Tess sees only as a friend, you can feel his yearning, wishing their relationship was more than just friendship. This is the type of book you can’t really describe in a review as I don’t want to give away any of the twists and turns of the plot. But you will live through all the joys and sadness of Tess’ life, especially when she finally understands the meaning of true loss. Will she be able to pick herself up and learn to live again?

The ending of the book was perfect to set up for the sequel. It leaves a lot of unanswered questions. I want to know more. How does Chayse escape? How will Tess get her memories back? Who and what are Tess and Chayse? Are there more of them? I absolutely loved this book and give it 5 feathers.

What a great read! I absolutely loved the protagonist Tess, a 16 year-old girl. The author has done amazing work by creating such a wonderful, loveable character. It was pure pleasure to ‘watch’ her grow from a girl to this brave, unique young woman. The plot was intrigue, keeping me on my toes from chapter to chapter and as a huge lover of cliffhangers I have to say, my nails are way shorter after reading this story. The pace definitely kept me glued on the pages from the start and when I turned the last page I had only one thing in my mind…I want more!

Also, if you are interested in dreams and their meanings, this book offers you a great spin on the subject, awakening a lot of ‘what if’ questions and offering perfect food both to your mind and soul. The tension between Tess’s real world and the dream world was built up so skillfully that I noticed I was holding my breath at times whilst waiting for something big to happen. It was like knowing things could not go on so perfectly and at the same time wishing they could, as whatever was coming could not be good…

Clearly this is a mature young adult read but I think readers of all age would love this book. So, if you’re looking for something new, hot and a real page-turner, this is it! I can’t wait to read more of this author.
From the start of the book I was immediately intrigued by Tessnia as she encounters her life from a young girl to a woman. I was immendiately pulled into Tessnia life and her adventure. The story is full of anxious uncertainty about what may happen. I right away adored her best friends and family. There is also a male character - Chayse in this book that is strong, mysterious, handsome and has so many other features that your captivated by his character as well.

Chayse & Tessnia are drawn to each other. There is a connection between them. Tessnia is very smart & bright, excels at everything she does. She has no problems at all in high school or college. There is a frat boy who bother's her, but, who is there to rescue her? Chayse of course.

Chayse has a lot of hidden mysteries to him. He shows up, then leaves, then shows up again. He is also like Tessnia, excels at everything he does as well. We don't know much about Chayse.

Can't wait for book #2!
In Chaysing Dreams, by Jalpa Williby, Tessnia Sanoby seems to have it all. She's beautiful, athletic, and intelligent. She has a great relationship with her loving parents. Her strong friendships include Kylie and Jack. She's earned her place on the high school varsity basketball team. She performs volunteer work with challenged children.

Ms. Williby has woven an excellent story with wonderful characters. With her descriptions and talented prose, Ms. Williby allows the reader to live Tess' life with her. Experience Tess' triumphs, fears, grief, and adventures in Chaysing Dreams. I can't wait for the next installment in this thrilling trilogy.
